I am close to my friends and family and hope to meet someone that can mesh with those groups and I hope I can mesh with hers. Honesty is very important to me. I'm pretty ambitious and I think it's important that my match be ambitious as well. The industry or job is less important than the person like what they do or at least have a plan to do what they love. What you do is an important part of who you are. I like my work and I feel like there's no shame in that.
I'm from Massachusetts and I came out to California for work. It's been great and I've met a lot of great people and seen some great things. I'm pretty passionate about my job. I really feel like technology and science are good things for society and not only make life easier, but better for a lot of people.
I like to travel and explore new places. I like spending long weekends on vacations and day trips. I'm looking forward to a trip overseas and I'd like to travel to either Asia or Europe. Coming out here to live, I drove cross country with a bunch of friends and it was great seeing all the great stuff along the way.
My friends would describe me as impulsive but only with the fun stuff. When I know what I want I can be single-minded in going for it. I attribute a lot of the good things that have happened to me to this trait. I think it makes me focused and has served me well. I'm not a big planner, I tend to do things at the last minute. But when it comes to big things I like to be meticulous about the details.
In a relationship I like to go treat my date well. I like to wine and dine but I also like to relax occasionally and just watch a movie or tv. I'm also up for new stuff that I don't ordinarily do. You name it and I'll try it.
