I'm an optimistic, resilient, sentimental, active lady who appreciates the little joys, as well as relationships with my friends and family. I'm kind to others, thoughtful, trustworthy and a good listener. I like to keep busy and while I am a planner by nature, I also appreciate spontaneity.
I'm the girl in flip flops at a concert festival one day and then done up in heels and a dress at a fantastic NYC restaurant the next. I like a day out on the town just like a day on the couch playing games and watching movies. I can talk to just about anyone, I'm always making new friends and love meeting new people, but relish a night when it's only the two of us even more. I hope to find someone who can fit into all scenes and enjoy themselves and the company around them just as I would.
I'm a true music lover. If money (and energy for work) were no option, I would go to concerts every day of the week. Definitely a foodie; I'm into most genres of food. I enjoy going out and trying something new, but an evening in the kitchen with a new recipe or ingredient can also be great.
Indie movies, strong coffee, a good book, a nice glass of wine (ok, maybe the bottle), music magazines and traveling. Anywhere I haven't been is a place I want to go. I recently traveled to Aspen and Canada for the past ski season and it's safe to say I'm hooked on skiing out west now. I knew that would happen. Come the winter months I prefer to be on the slopes more than I'm not. I love to ski (challenge me on the slopes, I dare you). Snowboarders welcome, I'm no ski snob.
I'm a "doer," we live in such a great area...how can you not take advantage of that? I want to find someone who appreciates the weekends and uses the time to see new sights, explore and be outside. I want to spend my time with someone who likes to spend the day checking out the next "new thing," or going back to a place that just makes you feel peaceful and fulfilled.
I'm looking for a best friend who gives me butterflies. He is affectionate and someone who will want to experience the music scene, the ski slopes and the sights with me. He is a good person through and through. He is thoughtful of those around him, romantic, into the arts, active and looking for a true partner.
