I grew up in Colorado and I have lived in a number of different places from small towns to big cities. I came to DC after finishing a double masters' degree in Boston and am so lucky to have an amazing group of friends and a job I love that keeps me super busy. I am an only child, and I come from a very close knit family. I believe that people should be treasured, and I am extremely grateful for the family and friends I have collected along the way. I love being able to go out and explore the city, but I'm just as happy (if not sometimes secretly more happy) to stay home, curled up with a good book and a bottle of wine. My perfect guy is ambitious, intelligent, energetic, sweet, with a little bit of a romantic side. He's the type of guy who just wakes up one day, looks at me, and says let's go somewhere... like Istanbul or Paris. He's charming, not afraid of a good debate, and he's open to trying new things. ...And I just haven't met him yet. :)
