A little about me:
I am definitely a “guy’s girl”; I enjoy beer and football, yard sports, hip-hop music, fast cars and action movies. Simply speaking, I’m not afraid of a little dirt and sweat. I also strive to be independent and self-sufficient; I can put things together and fix them when they're broken, and I am not afraid of big, hairy spiders. But don't let these things fool you; I know how to rock a dress and heels.
I just finished graduate school for nutrition. My career is very important to me, but it isn't everything. I dedicate a large part of my daily life to fitness and eating healthy, and want to be with someone who also enjoys being active. I need someone who can keep up with me, but who will also remind me to take breathers (aka lay around on a Sunday) once in awhile.
I grew up in Southern Maine, and I am a bit of beach bum. I can surf and paddle board, but few things make me happier than sitting on the beach with a good book and my best girlfriends. And while I can happily lie in the sand for hours, I will never turn down a game of ultimate Frisbee or the chance to toss (and try to tackle) a football/ my opponents. I am competitive, but I'm okay with not always winning ;)
I am a total sucker for tall, muscular guys with dark hair and blue eyes. I like the type of guy that will stand out on a crowded street. And, if he has a Boston accent, even better. I am definitely attracted to a guy with a “rough and tough” exterior. But he must have a brain along with that body, and know when to be romantic, and strive to keep me interested. I take note of guys who are genuinely chivalrous (key word: genuine). This means that you are still sending me flowers and opening doors for me long past our first date.
Travel is another one of my passions. I admire an adventurous spirit, and like a guy who is willing to chart new territories and try different things. I need a guy who will challenge me, both physically and mentally. Someone who is not afraid to call me out when I am wrong, but who will give me room to make mistakes and learn from them. A great sense of humor is a must! Overall, I am looking for a guy to do fun things with, and we'll take things from there.
