I am not very good at talking about myself.. so If this lacks enthusiasm you will have to forgive me.
I am a hard working guy.. I feel like I have a lot to offer a companion. I have a fun personality and bring a lot of energy to the table. I am a caring person, considerate, I am well mannered and I enjoy the small things in life. I consider myself to be a bit of a camillion when it comes to being social. I enjoy dressing up to go to a nice restaraunt.. stopping at a tavern for happy hour after work in my "work clothes" is a good time now and then.. sitting at home on the couch in my comfy clothes is something that is done regularly. I would like to find someone that shares the same qualitities as far as this goes.. Someone that wouldnt feel completely uncomfortable at any of the classes life has to offer. Sometimes ya just have to go into that smokey bar.. :)
I like to think I have put myself in a pretty good position though hard work, determination and a little bit of luck. I own a home, I own a car, I am surrounded by good friends that I have been close with for decades now. I feel as though all of these things show the kind of person I really am. A loyal, trustworth and responsible guy.. and I think meeting a woman with a similar outlook and track record is someone that I want to be around. I have never been a big fan of drama and try to avoid it when possible.. so if your laid back, that will earn you some points :)
My social life has kind of changed over the last 5 years or so. Most of my friends are no longer available for doing much during the weekends.. and we all have very different schedules so happy hours are few and far between. With that being said.. I would like to meet someone that enjoys dining out, movie nights(in or out), someone that would enjoy making dinner together or going to dinner with some friends/family. Traveling is something I would like to do more of in the future.. however, this is one subject that always scares me while I read other profiles. I am not looking to be bombarded with constant escapes from the city.. lol I think a trip once a year is good enough for me.. and if there are a couple weekend getaways that is great! Really.. how does everyone get so much time off from work that they can leave the country 3 times a year?? haha
About my Ideal Match.. I think a lot of this goes without saying but smart, funny, pretty, kind hearted, whitty, etc. Some of the things that I really look for in a woman are, ability to take a joke.. ability to make a joke .. a little bit of scarcasm will never be frowned upon in my world. Maintaining a healthy lifestyle is a huge deal to me.. please allow me to elaborate. I am not reffering to counting calories.. or working out 5 times a week.. or even taking your vitamins. Keeping yourself in a condition that keeps you feeling good.. and good about yourself. I am not one to complain about how I look or feel.. If something is bothering me about myself I am the type to change my lifestyle or make it better somehow. I think it is just as good for mental health. She would also be playfull and not afraid to tell me how she feels if something is bothering her.. This isn't too many requests is it? :-)
