I frequent Barnes Noble I've given up the bar life. I adore my son; our furry adopted family members, a good movie, traveling, an intellectual woman, working out, staying healthy, being politically socially aware, the smell of a campfire, the crispness of a fall breeze.
I open doors, pull out chairs stand when a lady leaves or comes back to the table. I don't clip my toenails anywhere in the house, let alone throw them on the floor. I always put the toilet seat down and I make a mean filet mignon.
I’m exceedingly grateful for the simplest things: being able to afford a movie, having food in my fridge, a warm shower, clean sheets, a roof over my head electricity.
I own my home, but I live within my means. I am far from being wealthy but what I have to offer will offset any material desires you may have. You will never want for romance, affection, understanding, love or conversation.
I have a wealth of experience that I want to share with someone and hopefully someone to share with me the things that I've missed out on or am simply ignorant of. I’m looking for a lifetime relationship with a woman who is open-minded, objective, compassionate and can give just as much as I will bestow upon her.
Intellect the ability to communicate openly and honestly are mandatory. Superior libido is encouraged. ;)
Deal Breakers: Close-minded types, fundamentalists/extremists, racists, bigots, drug users, abusers of alcohol, narcissists, religious fanatics. If you have a Confederate flag anywhere or you chew with your mouth open, don't at least make an attempt at living a healthy lifestyle, have absolutely no sense of appreciation or the ability to demonstrate gratitude AND kindness, have never or will never pee in the woods b/c it's just beneath you, if you think Nascar is the greatest thing next to buttered bread, or you don't know the difference between "too, to, and two, or your you're;" I'm sorry, the one-eyed fortuneteller I saw prior to writing this profile told me we're not going to be compatible.
I consider myself socially liberal and fiscally conservative. I am pro-choice, support equal rights for the GLBT community and all human beings. I am for responsible gun control. I'm an active volunteer with several veterans organizations who are the lifeblood of this great nation. I love animals and believe in fighting for their rights. I'm very opinionated exceedingly passionate and have a zest for life and making a difference in general.
FYI, I am willing and able to relocate.
