I'm a university student with a passion for learning about the world around me which has definitely been fuel for my travel bug. I am a Christian and I believe the Lord has given me a huge desire to serve other people whether it be in the US or abroad. I find joy in a lot of little things, which often means I'm laughing...laughing quite loud at that. I love to explore, read and cook, but unfortunately I don't travel as much as I want, I read a little slow, and I'm definitely not the world's best cook! I suppose I am fairly normal, whatever that means. I enjoy going to concerts, walking by myself, visiting museums and the theatre, galleries, and markets, but I also enjoy more simple homebody things like hanging out in my flannel pajamas with a big mug of hot tea and a book...preferably by a window, or if the weather's nice hiking and camping. And while I adore animals I am big on the whole pet rock scene as of present. (Really that's just my way of telling you I have an extensive rock collection that I started when I was ten. This girl loves her some geodes!)
And just as an aside, I may not have a visible set of abs, or incredibly toned legs, but I do really enjoy staying active in ways that don't involve going to the gym obsessively. I like to have a burger plus the fries and yet I can still take a hike without requiring an oxygen tank! So all you "active" guys keep that in mind...all those gorgeous little 20 year old Victoria Secret models may look good now, but it doesn't always end up so nice...when you realize that, I will be right here smiling with open arms offering you nachos in one hand, and a cold beer in the other...that's right, I went there ;)
