New to online dating but optimistic something will work out given the success stories of several friends. I am from the South but went to school in Boston and have been living in New York City for a while now. I have a pretty intense job (I guess we all do in NYC) that takes a lot out of me during the week. I am definitely a work hard play hard type, try and take advantage of all the great restaurant and bar offerings the city has to offer. I have an amazing family who I unfortunately do not get to see that much of as the five of us are spread out all over the country. So, when we get together, it makes for a very special time. I take very good care of the people closest to me. I do not have a laundry list of qualities I am looking for in a girl (long lists I read on here are somewhat annoying). A couple of basic qualities I do hope to find - fun, good sense of adventure, smart, silly, open minded, honest and family oriented.
My buddy and I have a $50 bet on who will be featured first on a match.com commercial, so if things work out I will give you a $10 or maybe I'll treat for an ice cream sundae. We'll figure something out. My friend has been seeing someone he met on here for a while now so I have my work cut out for me.
