I am a native New Englander transplanted here in Atlanta for grad school. I've settled into the city a bit and am hoping to broaden my social circles and set some roots here. I still have quite a bit of Atlanta left to explore, so I'm looking for a partner in crime to help me work my way down my Southern Bucket List!
During the week I play this game I like to call grad school. So, on the weekends I tend to make plans that get me out of the house and away from my desk. I enjoy being surrounded by people, spending time outdoors, and experimenting in the kitchen. I enjoy staying active and working out with friends. I ran my first half marathon in November and just signed up to run another in March. I can hang with the boys and play flag football (and I have a decent spiral!), but I also have a healthy addiction to stilettos and chapstick. I love my close friends and my dogs, and both the friends and dogs hear that I love them quite often. Both also get to serve as taste-testers for my cooking. I consider myself a positive person and like to keep those around me smiling.
I grew up in Rhode Island, so naturally most of my family lived within a 10 minute radius :) Seeing my family frequently was a great part growing up there. My house was the one where my mom was usually cooking for the family to come by, or family and friends just dropped by because our door was always open. I try to have the same here in Atlanta, although close friends play the part of family members. I'm looking for someone who would enjoy the same and values close family relationships.
Who am I looking for? Well, I play the part of a sarcastic pain quite well, so I tend to enjoy a partner who knows how to flirt and can keep up with some witty banter. I'm a sucker for charmers. He must love dogs, enjoy an active lifestyle, and have a sense of fulfillment from the work he does. Extroverted, confident, funny- you know just the perfect guy that everyone enjoys spending time with and I feel lucky to be taking home.
