I see myself as an adventurer with a curious blend of sophistication and naivete in rare combination, as a rugged individualist who stands by his values and convictions, as someone who believes in being fair, sincere and generous in life and who usually has an uncanny insight into people and situations.
I appreciate the simple things in life like preparing a good meal, a stimulating conversation, music, movies, a casual stroll, an embrace, a friendly smile, an open mind and a heart-to-heart discussion about things that matter to us. Ideally, I strive to balance my sense of adventure with mental and emotional stability. Family, friendships, health and quality of life are some of the things I value most.
Quick to laugh, I relish a good sense of humor in others and like to make people laugh and smile. In a game of truth or dare, more often than not, I accept a dare because the consequences can be hilarious and the experience so much fun. Fresh ideas and new insights inspire me. Solutions to yesterday's problems give me renewed optimism in the morning. Overall, I’m positive and maintain an indomitable spirit. I try to keep my integrity intact and never stick my head in the sand.
I enjoy my career with its challenges and rewards. Over the course of twenty-something years in the same field, I've accomplished things I thought were impossible and still embrace new challenges. By the same token, I'm interested in traveling to see and explore different places and cultures. I'd like to spend an endless summer in Central America between October and February, stand next to the Great Pyramid in Egypt and visit Marseille, for example. I'd like to enjoy life's simple pleasures and exhilarating moments with a special woman.
To be perfectly honest, I tend to like a light complexion, light colored eyes and a little Spanish speaking (un poquito, por favor). I'm especially attracted to intellect, charm, kindness, laughter, beauty, character, belief in oneself, belief in ideas and ideals. I’m also looking for that ineffable quality that makes a woman beautiful and unique from within.
Being with a feminine woman who likes physical activity is something I thoroughly enjoy; one who likes to take her athletic garb off and don a dress and high-heels to dance and enjoy a night on the town. A relaxing evening with a delicious meal, complementary wine or champagne and a cozy atmosphere is quite special too. A soothing massage to ease the aches and pains of the day is something I do well. If you're spontaneous, courageous and love the ocean and mountains by day, I might worship the ground you walk on.
