Hi Im Mathew and like most people on here, my friend talked me into this. But I truly am excited to see how and if it works.
I think the hardest part will be composing thoughts about myself in an enticing and organized manner but I'll give it a shot. Really all you need to do is ask me what you want to know and I would be more than happy to tell you, albeit I would prefer a more personal setting (ie a table between us, not two computers) but im not opposed to trying new things.
Let's see, a little about myself: I am currently a regional merchandiser for Charlotte and occasionally have to travel, a Marine, and a white-water kayaking instructor -I also work part time at an engineering firm. I love being outdoors and nothing beats live music, a cold beer and good friends. Let's see, the craziest thing I have ever done is a toss up between riding bulls in the high school rodeo, going down class 3 rapids backwards, and going down a 300 foot cliff mission impossible style (running face down). Overall I am a pretty straightforward kind of guy, I am always honest, rather open, and always up for trying new things. I am a gentleman, born and raised, I enjoy opening doors for ladies, and saying 'yes ma'am/no ma'am' comes natural for me. Truth be told I actually love having someone to be sweet on...
I am a very funny guy, who can get a laugh out of anyone, and love to goof off but I am well aware of whether a situation warrants having a light heart or not. I can however be a shy person, at the start, but I am not timid at all -I know, it makes tons of sense. And it seems that anywhere I go, I make friends that seem to remember me forever. In terms of music, I like everything from Metallica to Elton John to that new Call me maybe song; I really just love most kinds of music.
I guess I am just looking for a fun girl that I can get to know, someone who isn't afraid to laugh (I will make you laugh a lot) and someone who is just comfortable in her own skin; someone who can get dolled up and go downtown yet be that girl who can rock the pajamas or blue jeans and just cuddle up on the couch for the evening. I need someone who can respect that I am a southern gentleman and not try to take advantage of that. But most of all, honesty is the most important requirement. Bonus point available: Pulling up the center console of my truck and sliding over next to the driver seat while I walk around after opening your door [you may also unlock my side if you want ;)] I want someone to be cute with and I want someone who I can't wait to see at the end of the day.
To sum it all up, I am a sweet guy looking for a sweet girl. I am looking for my best friend.
