"Laugh out loud. Roll down hills." - me I live in the moment, but I have to plan to get there. I enjoy the outdoors on cloudy, windy days. I love food, just not vegetables. I can keep my opinions to myself, unless you ask. My best friends are guys. I love people watching but crowds make me cringe. I drive aggressively, but safely. I hate conflict and drama. I love fireworks and flowers. I like smooth peanut butter but crunchy Cheetos. I watch both college Football (Go Spartans!) and pro Football, but not basketball, not until March. I root for the underdog and the home team. I think kids are amazingly insightful and while I never had the urge to have kids of my own, I enjoy the company of my niece and nephew (and they mine) consistently. I have a creative side (sewing/drawing/painting) but I can also swing a hammer, build a fire and grill a darn good rack of ribs. I'm content to stay in or go out. I can dress up or dress down, though sometimes to shake things up I wear a baseball hat with my little black dress & high heels with jeans. ;) I love hosting parties (esp. poker games) but the house I am in now makes it a little difficult and I really, really miss it. I'm pragmatic, sarcastic, easily amused and loyal to a fault. I laugh a lot. I don't have any fears, except someone close to me dying. And bats. Not the flying around outside ones, but the stuck in my house ones. With regards to my body type- it's a work in progress. I may have a few extra pounds, but I am also very active. No one ever believes my age because of how i look and act. Aside from my addiction to cheese and an appreciation for craft beer, I eat fairly well and exercise regularly both in the gym and outdoors. I like bike riding, hiking and disc golf. (which is sort of like hiking but on 18 separate mini-trails.) I was born and raised in Philadelphia and even though I haven't lived there for nearly 25 years, I still call it home. I've traveled outside the country on a few occasions, but for the past 10 years or so I've picked a place in the US to visit (Boston, Washington DC, Portland, Seattle, Phoenix, New Orleans, Chicago, Atlanta, Nashville, Charleston, Las Vegas, Denver, New York City, Key West) and those trips have been easy and enjoyable. Not to say that I would turn down a trip to Ireland or Prague if you offered, but I feel that I need to see the Grand Canyon and the Redwood Forest first. To ask me what I am looking for in a guy is simple: I am looking for someone who is patient, kind and a little quirky. He should have his own interests and opinions, but entertain new views and experiences. Career doesn't matter but stability does. Intelligence and of course a sense of humor are key. There is nothing that lights me up more than a really smart guy who laughs out loud at a really dumb joke. I have no hidden agenda and everything on my profile is 100% true. Best, Maryann
