I’m an accounting manager for a major energy company. If the good Lord’s willing and the creeks don’t rise, I will finish my career with this company. It is a great place to work with a lot of growth opportunity; I enjoy the people, culture and the work. My motto: work hard, play hard which is not always easy to accomplish with a career and being a single mother. I have an elementary age son who is the apple of my eye. I’ve become a great juggler and most of the time I keep all the balls in the air!
Most of my life I’ve lived in Texas and call it home but I enjoy travelling. I have a good set of friends and we travel well together. Concerts and a trip to New Orleans are yearly events – no kids allowed (this is mommy time). But I also plan river floating vacations, trips to amusement parks, attend sporting events, and learned to hunt so I can spend quality time with my kiddo. I’m usually willing to try new experiences; if I don’t like it then don’t do it again but if I never try it I will never know what I might be missing. I am all in favor of spontaneity, even though it will be carefully planned and ruthlessly controlled.
I’m looking for a partner who wants to be in a relationship. Someone that is not afraid of putting their all into a relationship. Someone who will walk beside me through this journey we call life and share life’s experiences. I’m seeking a self supported, self motivated, and confident individual with whom I can have a friend, companion, and lover. I’m getting older and can’t be a cheerleader forever.
