My rather unconventional upbringing (born in Germany, raised in Latin America and then different parts of Europe and followed by lots of travel including a one-year sabbatical and a trip with my backpack once around the world) has left me easy-going, down-to-earth, adaptable and open-minded. Now I have found my home sweet home here in Miami and it would be great to start the next chapter of my life with the right guy!
Educated and passionate, I am an independent and unpretentious woman with a career and a mind of my own. I balance that with a relaxed and always caring personality. I'm very affectionate and I have very close friends here who have become my family away from home. I have three wonderful godchildren and am a “Big Sister” in the Big Brother/Big Sister program.
I enjoy boxing bootcamp classes, Bikram yoga, discovering culinary treasures, art walks, sailing, kayaking, volunteering and much more. Travel is part of my DNA and I would rather spend two weeks exploring Bangkok than two weeks in the Bahamas, if you know what I mean. Culture and color are more important than glitz and glamor. I will always prefer real over fake and I'm always up for something new - a new place to discover, a new dish to try and new friend to make. And athough I tend to be a planner, I do love spontaneity!
Authenticity is key for me and with that in mind I'm looking for a very genuine and open guy who is open for something real and substantial with the right person. I'm attracted to men who are confident, protective and strong but still appreciative of my independent spirit. Intelligence and curiosity about the world are very important. Beyond that, the main thing I want is passion! I see myself with a man who is passionate about everything he does, the sort of guy who throws himself wholeheartedly into his career, his hobbies and his relationships. Not to forget sense of humor and being able to laugh about yourself and not to take yourself too seriously!
