I grew up in the Bay Area with a big family in a small house. My parents are former hippies who spent the 70s studying psychology (think couples therapy on ecstacy and LSD-infused spiritual journeys), so you could say upbringing was slightly "unconventional." I learned how to share from my twin sister, how to kick butt from my brother, and how to do burning man right from my parents (but that's probably a story for the 2nd or 3rd date). I've pursued a slightly more straight-laced career (medicine), which I love because it satisfies my passion for science and gives me the opportunity to help others in a meaningful way.
I'm a fan of anything outdoors, from rock climbing to camping to skiing and everything in between. I grew up playing every sport that my dad could sign me up for. I'm more of a dive bar kind-of-girl than a Hollywood nightclub kind-of-girl, and I'll take a good German beer over an appletini any day. I'm not rigid about space or material things, and I'd much rather spend my money on travel and experiences than on possessions. I've rambled through the Borghese gallery in Rome, been awkwardly kissed by a stranger on the metro in Paris, and skinny dipped in the Amazon... the pirhana brazillian was just a bonus ;-). I value my family, friends, and honesty above all else. Currently, I am living in Santa Monica doing my residency in Anesthesiology at UCLA.
