I moved to Charlotte from Michigan a few years ago and absolutely loving it! I've got a great group of friends and managed to pull together a life that I absolutely love. It's tough to just pick up and move away from home on your own and start a new life from scratch so anyone else who has done that as well I have to say I admire. I like to think it gave me a different perspective on life and forced me to change in ways wouldn't have otherwise. A little bit about me: I'm a girl who loves sports, mostly college football (GO BLUE!), cheering for my favorite team(s) and going to sporting events as much as I like wine and going shopping...go figure right? I also love live music and going to concerts as well as a nice night in cooking and watching a movie. Overall just a pretty simple, outgoing, fun, drama free kind of a girl! Additionally, I really like to travel and experience new things. I find that my little corner of the map hardly showcases what else is out there and I honestly can't wait to book trips and see where they take me. I know a lot of people will also put things that they aren't into to impress people and well... I'm not that girl... so let me lay it out there: 1. Camping - here's the deal. I would much rather "camp" at a four seasons than the woods, but I've done it and I actually had a good time. Not once or twice but several times. I'm not the girl that's going to do it every weekend, but I will indulge and won't be a Debbie Downer about it. Also, I really like camp fires, whether or not that's connect to an actual camping trip or just in someone's backyard I'm game! 2. Pets - I don't own any pets and certainly don't want to pick up after anyone's. If you have one that's fine, but I just don't share that whole "must love dogs" kind of a thing. 3. Career - I've got a good one and it's a big deal to me. I don't want to date someone still in school. If you've gone back to get a higher education, congrats and that's fine, but I need someone who knows where they are going in life and already has their career on a path. 4, Living Situation - if you live with roommates, I get it, it saves money, but it won't work. Independence and having you're own space are a big deal to me. 5. Grammar - If you don't know the difference between Their, There and They're or Know and no figure it out before you communicate with me. So... I think that's enough for now, just had to throw a few things out there. Whew... now that that's over, here is what I'm looking for: I want someone that knows how to treat a lady, that means opening doors (both to a building and a vehicle). I'd like someone that knows what they want out of life and is actively pursuing that and already knows they want a relationship not just a "fun time". Overall... a grown-up... seems like that should be obvious, but it's not. Anyway, if we aren't a match, no worries and good luck to you! I hope you find what you're looking for. If you think we are, then send me an email! Thanks! :)
