In a world of tweets and text messages, giving someone 4000 characters is like giving them one of Kramer's luxurious lanes. As tempted as I am to want to take full advantage of the space, I'll try to keep this quick and to the point.
First, a little about me: Though it can be fun to stay cozy indoors on a cold winter evening, I love being able to get out of the house and do things outdoors. Anyone up for some snowshoeing? In the warmer weather, I enjoy going for a hike or renting a kayak on a sunny afternoon. I used to swim competitively, and I still try to hit the pool regularly to get some laps in. I love going to concerts, especially at smaller venues, and I also like checking out various improv and sketch comedy groups in the area. Community theater can be fun, too. My father raised me on a healthy diet of puns, so you'll definitely see that come out in my sense of humor. I'm always looking for a good opportunity to make people laugh.
Right now, my paid job is as an IT manager for a small business. I've also been developing an idea in the broadcast journalism field with my brother which we recently launched publicly, and so I've become a pretty passionate follower of what is happening in that industry.
Now, a little about her (you?): I think I'm really looking for my female counterpart at some core level. The person I'm seeking is the girl who exudes a quiet confidence, is unrelenting in their compassion for others, and can go from a moment of intelligent conversation to complete goofiness at a moment's notice. Since I'm involved in my church, I'd hope she'd respect that and want to grow spiritually with me as well. A sense of adventure and spontaneity is a big plus. I'm drawn to those that are artsy (music, dance, art, photography, etc.), bright, witty, and driven.
