I’m constantly working on various projects, but I do make time for my friends, whether it is going to a pool hall, watching a movie or TV show, or just having a drink and talking. Meeting someone of substance at a club/bar is not really believable, though I do like to get away from the craziness of the world for a little bit from time to time. I also spend time with family… playing cards/other games… sometimes I watch my adorable niece who absolutely loves Dora and Mickey. Speaking of which, why can’t Swiper ever get the job done??? Lame fox… I do like going to Manhattan every so often… maybe to shop or see a show. Comedy clubs are always fun and a good way to start the night sometimes. Follow it up with a few drinks at a nearby lounge, or even a dinner at a fine dining establishment (did I just say “establishment”?) and top it off with a view of the Manhattan skyline… just one scenario. Or maybe if you are lucky I’ll cook penne a la vodka with chicken francese as the main, and top it off with my special blueberry cheesecake :) Then again we could always just go to Dave & Buster’s… I’m up for a game of air hockey anytime, so bring it! To me, it is the people you are with that make the night, not whether we are at a 5-star restaurant, mini-golfing, grabbing a bite at a diner, or having a coffee at Starbucks.
Ok, let’s move on to you…. I ultimately want someone who has a sense of humor, communicates, and is independent. Are you wild? Spontaneous? If so, let’s leave town for the weekend or just simply crash a wedding. It will be a hilarious story to tell tomorrow. I’m kidding, we don’t have to crash a wedding... but it would be fun! A definite turn on would be someone who is driven, focused, hardworking. I hate when I see people with bag in hand ready to race out of the office as soon as the clock hits 5:30pm. Yes, I would LOVE to end my work then too, but there are more important things than American Idol :) If you go the extra mile and stop at nothing to reach your goals, let’s talk. All that hard work should be rewarded… so let’s go shopping. We don’t have to hit all the boutiques at the Americana Manhasset in one visit though!
That wasn’t so bad right? I know, wasn’t so brief… Hello? Wake up!! Obviously most people on match are here to find that “special someone” right? I feel it would be so much more MEANINGFUL to actually build a friendship... and let that grow... into something deeper. Too many people put high hopes and expectations into that first date or first match meeting... I think people should just relax, be themselves, enjoy the time talking to someone, learning about them and enjoying a new experience… and if something happens GREAT. If not, maybe at least you made a friend. So, if you are up for a NO PRESSURE good time, drop me a line. You can buy the first round! Just kidding, I rather you take me to dinner :) hehe…
