I moved to the Bay Area from Minnesota about 3 years ago, and decided to try this as another way to meet new people. I always feel a bit strange writing about myself, but here goes nothin...
I have a wide range of hobbies and interests, and am always down to try something new, so with that said I'll try to narrow it down a bit. Overall, I'm someone who prefers watching a movie or a sporting event over spending the night at the club. I enjoy the bar scene, but often find myself wanting to do more than just that. I would love to find someone with whom I can play tennis, go skiing/snowboarding, discuss the news, laugh, and catch the latest movie (among other things...). I'm a big sports fan, with my loyalty falling first to Minnesota teams, but the Bay Area teams are quickly becoming my favorites as well :)
I work with special education high school students and am currently enrolled in a Masters Program which I will finish next year. When I'm not working or in class, I spend some of my time coaching youth basketball. Bonus points if that's a sport that interests you :) I'm passionate about helping others and making a difference in this world. If you have the same mindset, plus a great sense of humor, and a sense of adventure, we might get along really well.
I love exploring new areas and trying new things. I know there is so much in this area that I still have not seen, and would love to find someone with whom I can share those experiences.
