Have been in NYC for the past six years with the exception of a year and a half stint in London for work. I’m a Boston girl at heart but love living here and taking advantage of everything this great city has to offer.
I feel very fortunate to have many close friends and a supportive family. I grew up spending time on the Cape when I was a kid and the beach is definitely my happy place. I love traveling both within the 50 states and internationally. I spent a week out in Utah this summer enjoying the national parks. Peru, South Africa and Australia are high on my list of new places to visit, and I don’t think I’ll ever tire of Italy.
When I’m in the city I keep myself busy meeting up with friends to try new restaurants or visit old favorites, to watch college/professional sports games or to check out shows/concerts. I volunteer with elementary school kids during the school year and feel it’s important to give back. I try to stay fit and work out at least 4 days a week. I’m trying to get back into running and would love to run a half marathon some day.
I’m not looking for a specific type; I’m looking for someone with whom I connect intellectually, emotionally and physically. I’d like to find a guy who is serious about his career and responsibilities but doesn’t take himself too seriously, a guy who has a close and loving relationship with his family but has found his independence, a guy who can tell a joke and take a joke. I do believe that laughter is the best medicine.
