I'm a nice, comical, outgoing guy that likes to go out on the weekends or stay in for a movie, depending on the night. I'm looking for a fun and outgoing girl that must have a great sense of humor... someone special to go out to dinner, on walks, to the movies or whatever just as long as we can have fun spending time together.
I'm really a people pleaser. For some reason making other people happy makes me happy. I'm the kind of person that will go talk to the quiet person sitting in the corner at a party just so they feel more welcomed and have a fun time. I'm always willing to go that extra mile to help out a friend or someone I care about.
I'm an old-fashioned kind of guy... holding the door open, being a gentleman, and always being courteous and polite. I'm not the type to answer the phone or text at dinner and I expect that someone would be respectful/polite enough to not do the same.
I just moved to back to Minnesota from Charlotte to take a few more classes down at Minnesota State University, Mankato. I was down in Charlotte the last year and a half to start my new career as a web designer/web developer. I'm a bit of a technology geek, but no one ever guesses I'm the geeky type (which I like to think of as a good thing :)
I like to go out on the weekends to the bars and have some drinks with friends. I'm getting over the whole "can't remember what happened last night, but I bet it was a blast!" philosophy from early in my college years. Don't get me wrong, I still like to go out on weekends and have a good time, but I now prefer to remember the entire night.
During the winters I like to get out on the slopes and do some snowboarding. You'll usually find me in the terrain parks, but I love to get out west each year and hit some nice powder runs. I'm definitely going to miss all the snow back in Minnesota!
Whenever I can I like to stay active and just get out and have fun! Whenever I get some free time I like to head up to the gym to play some pickup games of basketball, or go rollerblading on the trails. Recently I've been starting to do more and more running outside to get a little exercise.
I love to listen to 90's alternative and that era of music. Not a big fan of country at all. Nirvana, Green Day, Blues Traveler, Alter Bridge, Bush and Counting Crows are just some of the bands I love to listen to. Not a big fan or the heavy metal and emo bands. No screaming for this guy. I'll also listen to some rap (gotta love Tupac) and hip hop or some pop music from time to time.
I love most food with the exception of seafood. I'm more of a meat-eater and I love a juicy bacon cheeseburger. I also really like italian foods. I think I could probably eat pizza everyday and never get sick of it! Thankfully I don't eat it everyday and I try to keep up a healthy diet and lifestyle (most of the time :).
By far I love comedy movies the most! I'm also a sucker for romantic comedies but not a big fan of scary movies (mostly because they're so predictable) unless I'm snuggling up next to someone. And of course I'm a guy so I love action movies!
I'm finally starting to read more books again. I used to read a ton when I was younger, but I fell out of the whole reading thing over that last few years. I like to read the classics and I'm a big fan of the Sherlock Holmes stories. My most recent reading has been the biography of Steve Jobs (very interesting life he lived!)
I think about my future a lot and what I want to do with the rest my life. Eventually I want to be a great father and husband. That's definitely not going to be happening anytime soon, but it's one of my biggest goals in life and something that I want more than anything. I'm hoping I'll be able to find the right girl one day to make that dream come true.
