I find just about anything and everything funny... I love to laugh and laugh often, even if sometimes is not at the most appropriate times. I tend to listen and observe more than being the center of attention. While I have more than enough to say, I like to give people opportunity to share instead of dominating a conversation. I am a balance of girlie girl (heels, dresses, and a fondness of lipstick) and one who loves her sweats, curling up with a warm fire, and a movie. I take great pride in my job, I thoroughly enjoy what I do and the people I work with, even when things get stressful. I'm an HR Business Partner, so I really have to have insight into just about every aspect of Business as it relates to People, Finance, Contracts, Subcontracts, etc. As it comes to work, I'm extremely driven. This innate drive to succeed developed early on when I found my love of sports and this internal competitiveness knowing that if you work hard, you will see great results. While I don’t play all the wonderful sports I grew up with, I do stay active and enjoy pushing myself to see what I can continue to accomplish, whether it’s running a 5K, lifting weights, snowboarding, hiking, biking, etc.
Family is a huge aspect in my life. My mom has truly become one of my closest, dare I say, friends. She has the best advice... and by listening to her, I was able to achieve one of my biggest goals and that was to purchase my dream condo by the time I hit 26. My dad has always been my biggest supporter, which has been the best blessing to have growing up. I have found that having grown up in this area and having such a close knit of friends who have been a part of my life over the past 15 years, it’s been difficult to meet new people (guys) in an attempt of getting back on the dating scene. So, here I am on a dating site to give it a shot. I’m very much a realist, I know that going on a date doesn’t equate to forever.....my expectations are very much, see what happens and let things fall where they may. I’m not good with back and forth emails, I’d rather go grab some coffee and see whether there is any chemistry or connection. I’d like a guy who knows not to put a girl up on a pedestal, who knows how to trust and communicate openly. Someone who we wouldn’t have everything in common, because how else do we get to learn from each other. Someone who is a bit independent, has good manners, and likes being active. A guy who is career driven, but can be goofy, a little spontaneous, and is able to appreciate the little things in life. Let’s just see what happens, feel free to say hi!
