With some gentle nudging from from friends and clients (I'm a personal trainer), I'm giving this a shot.
I'm an active gal looking for someone to share new adventures with to add onto the life experience list. Often described by others as cool, calm and collected; high maintenance and drama do not have a place in my life. I'm looking for someone who is confident, athletic and passionate with a love for life. If you can laugh at yourself, have a drive to challenge yourself physically and mentally and enjoy a day of exploring a cenote in Mexico.....as much as a 200 tent beer tasting festival then we probably have even more in common.
Originally from upstate NY, I moved to the DC area in 1999/2000 for school. While earning my degree in Health Promotion, I fell in love with rugby and put soccer and basketball on the back burners. Yep, that's right, RUGBY. This sport has been a true passion and allowed me to travel around the country and internationally as well. It has taught me the true meaning of being a "team player", what compromise, sacrifice and dedication are in terms of actions not just words.
But life must have a balance. For as hard as I work, it is just as important to make time to play! Everyday is an opportunity for a new adventure and the plan is to keep adding to the list of LIFE! Skydiving in Key West, wine tasting in Budapest, 12 mile day hike with 6 dogs in the Blue Ridge Mountains, New Years in Dublin, rock climbing/high ropes courses anywhere! Adventures are great, only made better by sharing them with friends and family. That is where the real value lies in life, being able to share your best and worst days with the ones you care about.
