I am a very honest person who is very respectful; one thing that I don’t believe in is one night stands. I'd like to think I am a man of morals and would like to find someone who is genuine and fun. The truth is I may come off shy at first but that won’t stop me from having a good time. Joking around with people is a big part of my life even when it’s at myself, I think a good sense of humor is a must, but of course there’s a time and place. I am a social drinker who enjoys going out here and there. I’m more of an outdoors kind of guy having a beer out by the fire with a group of friends but I’m always open to check out a new bar especially if it is down to earth with some good live music.
Formally I was in the Marines stationed out of Marine Corps Base Hawaii, I traveled around the world and since being out I enrolled in school to further my education which I am currently pursuing my bachelors degree in environmental earth sciences. My studies play into my current job working for the Scripps Institute of Oceanography, which I really enjoy because there is nothing better than waking up and going to the beach every day for work. Volunteering is something I also enjoy doing, currently I volunteer down at the Maritime Museum in downtown SD helping crew the tall ships and taking people out sailing most weekends. Getting outside and exploring new places is probably my favorite thing to do.
