Hmmm, what to write, what to write, what to write...Am I the only one who does this over a bottle of wine?
I consider myself lucky in so many ways - I have wonderful and supportive friends and family, I am fortunate enough to have a career that takes me around the world experiencing some amazing places, and I have the luxury of time and energy to pursue things that interest me. I try to live my life to the fullest and get all I can out of every moment. That said, I'm still missing the one thing that makes it all complete. So here I am. I'm not sure this is the ideal method to meet someone. But I've been surprised before. So I'm hoping that this is one of those moments.
I've lived long enough to know who I am, and more importantly, the type of person (after much trial and error) that I am interested in spending my time and attention. There's no getting around the obvious - looks are a natural first attraction...chemistry is a must! And nothing beats a great smile. But beyond the window dressing you must also be intelligent so we can talk about something other than the weather, able to communicate outside of a text message ;) and have a passion for the things that excite you or that you are interested in. I am most attracted to men who are charming, spontaneous and energetic. And frankly, sarcastic - I'm quick witted so I hope you can keep up :) The kicker in this whole process - writing about myself. I've read enough Match profiles to know that if you took them for their word then there would be hundreds and hundreds of seemingly perfect people, with nary a flaw. It's a fine line between a salespitch and an honest assessment. I'll tell you right now that I'm not perfect. But I try to be the best that I can be. And I'd say that on any given day that is much better than the average chica. Who am I? The ubiquitous list of adjectives: Loyal, independent, confident, trustworthy, big-hearted, drive, gregarious, sharp-witted, adventurous, generous, extroverted. I believe attitude really is everything and I strive to always be optimistic....I'd prefer that you also are a pretty positive person (realizing that not everyday is rainbows and butterflies). I enjoy many sports and don't mind (I'd even say really enjoy) watching games, both live and at sports bars. I really like cooking and get a lot of pleasure from cooking meals at home. However, I also really enjoy the experience of eating out at restaurants and am lucky to be within walking distance of many great ones. I take care of myself - I try to eat fairly healthy and run/workout/do hot yoga 4-5 days a week...It would make sense if we were on then same page in that regard. I am cognisant of window dressing so I put energy into how I present myself - I've always said that it takes a lot of work to be so low maintenance...I'd prefer that you also paid attention to your own window dressing. I love to travel and am always thinking of and planning for the next place I should go - my ideal match would also consider this important in their life.
