If I could describe my philosophy on life in a nutshell, it's that life is what you make of it. I'm a passionate soul with a thirst for life and for experiences. Regardless of how something seems at the time, whether good or bad, I'm almost always eventually grateful for things that happen in my life.
A little bit about me… After living here in Boulder for about a year now, I am finally settling into my career and my life here. I just love, love, love what I do . I get to interact and connect with beautiful women every day. I learn more about myself through my interactions with others, and I am constantly amazed at the level of intimacy that patients share with me as their doctor. I get the opportunity to be a part of people’s lives in a way that most people never get to experience. And delivering babies on a daily basis is nothing short of awesome! Greeting new life as it meets the world for the first time is a truly a gift.
In my free time, I love doing just about anything outdoors. I am always up for trying new things and going on adventures! I recently took a trip to Croatia with REI and went hiking, biking and kayaking through the Croatian countryside for two weeks. I like to think of myself as an active and fit human being, but that is more or less true, depending on how busy I am. :) I used to be a long-distance runner and have recently gotten back into it. I also (re)discovered skiing last year and it quickly became one of my favorite activities!! (Hopefully mother nature is kinder to us this year with regards to the snow). I love yoga. I used to be, and plan to soon be... an avid hiker and backpacker. I (try to) meditate daily. I live with my cat and own my own home. I don’t smoke - never have, and never will. I’m fairly organized, but not a freak. I prefer to have several really close friends rather than hundreds of superficial ones. I love movies, the performing arts, and live music. I am an honest, open, kind, and generous woman and have a lot to offer in a relationship. Really. I guess I just have yet to meet a man who is worthy of my attention on a long-term basis. Who knows??...it could be you.
What I’m looking for in a partner… someone who is humble and knows how to laugh at themselves. You should definitely be non-smoker (sorry, but it’s a deal-breaker!). I really hope that you love nature and the outdoors as much as I do. I hope you care a bit about your physical health and well-being, but you need not be superman. It would be a plus if you like kids and animals. I would love to be able to hold a reasonably intellectual conversation with you. I hope you have a job (I don't date dudes without jobs). And you get extra points if you have an advanced degree of some sort, or are at the very least very ambitious and passionate about what you do. It'd also be nice if you know how to (at least occasionally) keep your ego in check. And being able to communicate with other humans is also a must. Extra brownie points if you are kind, loving, and/or honest (ha,ha). You must like and not be allergic to cats, as I am particularly attached to a lovely beautiful calico, at least for another 10 years. :) And perhaps most importantly - I want and need someone who has a desire to grow in relationship with another person.
If any (all?) of that sounds like you - please drop me a line. Don't wink at me (I'll just ignore it). If you're interested, please email.
