In my free time I like to hang out with friends, spend time with family and exercise. I love running - I did the Philadelphia Marathon last year. My next goal is to do a half-ironman sometime in 2013. I grew up Skiing and Snowboarding, so I won't have any problem keeping up if you're an expert. If you're a beginner and want to learn there's no need to pay for a lesson, I can teach you.
Family is really important to me. I’m very close with my parents and my older sister. My sister has a daughter who turned 2 at the end of May. The most exciting part of my life right now is watching my niece become her own little person. It's so interesting seeing how her brain works. Over Thanksgiving she was playing in the leaves with her little cousin Ava and they were "fighting the leaf monster." After a valiant battle they were both lying on the pile and Summer said, "Ava, we're heroes."
My sense of humor is my best attribute (just give me a little time to figure out what makes you laugh) I rarely get upset about much of anything. I believe that compromise is a sign of compassion, not a sign of weakness. .
I’m hoping to meet someone who is kind, funny, interesting, and spontaneous. Sense of humor and brains are really important - let's read a book together and talk about it. I have a fondness for quirky personalities. I find eccentricities to be interesting and comforting - they put me at ease and let me be myself. My ideal match would be someone interested in exploring the city, trying new things and going on adventures.
