Hi, I just moved to the Bay Area having spent 11 years in Las Vegas and 25 years in London and Germany. Although I have dual nationality I am certainly more English having been born and raised in Kent, just outside London. I was only meant to come to America for a summer back in 1999 but fell in love with it and cannot imagine ever moving back to England. I am hoping this will be a permanent stop here in California and am looking forward to discovering a whole new part of the country. I love hiking around with my dog who after 8 hot summers in Nevada deserves some outdoors time. My days of going to clubs and bars are long behind me and I spend much of my free time at bookstores or walking around the great new towns I have found in California. Someone who wants to discover new things together would be great, as would someone who does not mind playing the role of a tour guide. I am looking for someone who likes just hanging out doing random things and can make any situation a fun time. I love traveling and try to get away most summers to somewhere new. In the last few years I have been to Costa Rica, Germany, Mexico and Nicaragua. Even if it is not a major trip overseas, weekend road trips are always great. I teach English Literature at a private school in Menlo Park and travel around to books signings as and when they appear. Luckily most authors stop by in SF or LA so I normally do not have that far to travel. I am very excited to be in the Bay Area and am hoping to share these new experiences with someone.
