I'm a local boy. Born and raised in Los Angeles. I had a 4 year detour when I went to school in Oregon, where I double majored in Political Science and Spanish.
After school I went to work for a multi-national in Guadalajara, Mexico. The plan was to spend a year there, come back and start law school. Well, a year turned into 3 years (I was having the time of my life), and I've been back in Los Angeles now for about 3 years.
I have a wide area of interests, which are usually connected by a desire to be constantly learning. I'm very interested in politics, art, and anything interesting happening around the world.
I believe everyone has an artistic ability and calling somewhere in them, and with a little exploration and effort has the ability to harness it, enjoy it, and share it. Mine would be cooking, I love to cook all sorts of things and learn the history behind regional cuisines and dishes. I've always loved good wine, but have just recently taken an interest in really understanding the process and history of it as well.
If you know the difference between a Bordeaux and a Burgundy that's awesome, but it would be equally fun to be able to share my knowledge with you and explore more together.
My ideal girl would share some common interests with me, but more importantly, bring new and exciting interests and passions to the table as well. I don't want to date the female version of me, and some of the best long lasting relationships I've had, have been with women, who at least at first glance I had nothing in common with....
In other words, If you're a George Bush loving, NRA member from Kentucky who doesn't know the difference between broccoli and cauliflower and you don't aspire to ever leave your jr. management position at McDonald's then maybe, just maybe...hmmm on second thought...
