I moved to Atlanta in October and don't know many people yet. I work for an accounting firm as a CPA and unfortunately I work a lot of hours. I'm originally from California but I went to UGA for grad school.
I love to travel and I've been to 11 countries so far. Next on my list is Peru. I love experiencing new cultures, food, and meeting new people. I went backpacking this past summer by myself and it was quite the experience. I met so many interesting people along the way.
I like to workout, read, watch movies, shop, and cook. I've recently started getting into Stephen King. I like all types of movies other than really stupid movies like Borat or Napoleon Dynamite. I got into cooking on my trip this past summer. I discovered how awesome food can be when you make it from scratch. I really like the tv show Chopped. It's pretty interesting to see what they come up with. As far as my taste in music, I like most music, but not a big fan of country.
I'm looking for a guy that's laid back but driven. I'm not looking for someone who spends a large chunk of time playing video games. I'm looking for a guy that's open to other cultures as far as travel, different foods, religions, etc. I'd love a guy who would be willing to go to a Jamaican restaurant with me in Atlanta or ride elephants in India. I guess I'm looking for someone who shares my sense of adventure and love of life. And I should also add that I would like someone who believes in God. Not necessarily go to church (I don't go) but I think something in common as far as religion is important. Oh and you have to make me laugh. Or at least share my sense of humor. I'm the person that first laughs when my friends fall and then helps them up. Yes, I am a bad friend. Haha.
