As far as what I'm looking for goes, it's important to me that the person I'm dating be my equal. Differences often times help balance a relationship, which is great, but I'm talking about being equal when it somes to the big things. For example, I work and you should, too. I can pay my own way and don't mind doing so- it's imporatant that you be on the same page. I like to laugh, have fun and be sarcastic. I can find something funny about almost any situation. Per se, there's nothing wrong with boring people but they're not who I prefer to spend my free time around. I like to travel, especially to places on the coast. I love a lot of places in Europe (particularly Ireland and Italy) and had a blast in Costa Rica but I'm a sucker for Maui. Hands down, Maui is my favorite place on earth. In fact, I may be addicted to it- I was just there this summer for the 6th or 7th time and it was more awesome than ever. I prefer people with a sense of adventure and a love for the outdoors. I prefer masculine men over more passive or feminine men. It's cool if you hunt but I won't be going hunting with you and dead animal heads mounted on the wall kind of freak me out. I enjoy fishing- I'll bait my own hook but won't be gutting anything. As far as "deal breakers" go, I don't want to be your mother, mentor or personal cheerleader. I don't need to hear all about your ex's, especially if involves calling them "psycho." Kids are cool but there are way too many people out there who have them and shouldn't- I will never understand a man who has children but doesn't spend time with them or provide for them finacially. Finally, if you are mean to animals, we won't get along AT ALL. I'm an idependent, straight forward woman. Some guys can handle that, some can't. I guess time will tell...
