I'm a silly optimist. It's not that I haven't faced adversity, I've just always come through. I always try to see the positive side of situations, and I try not to judge people. I'm certainly not the fool, skipping off a cliff without a care in the world, but I try to see the best in people and situations.
I am a strong person, and I am honest. If you want to know something about me, ask. I have no use for lying.
I did play roller derby, but tore my ACL and am now working on rehabbing my knee. I've recently started a running program (C25K) and really love it. Not only do I enjoy running, but it is definitely strengthening my knee!
I'm a bit impulsive and definitely a goof. I try not to take myself too seriously. I am very good at being a responsible adult, I'm a single mom and I work full time, but when I'm around the people I care about I just want to have fun. Life is too short to suck. I knit, I sew, I bake. I have tattoos and piercings. I have a degree in English; I love linguistics, I'm a word nerd and a bit of a grammar geek.
I try to live life to it's fullest. I take advantage of opportunities when they present themselves to me. I always have one foot planted firmly in the ground (my New England upbringing) but the other foot is in a skate, or jogging in a race, climbing a tree, or planting a garden.
