I grew up in Manhattan and live in Chelsea now . . . love that it is near the West Village, the Hudson, the High Line (on the short list of tourist attractions that New Yorkers actually like too) and that when I walk down the street the only comments I get from guys are on my shoes. I am a criminal defense attorney, and I can't imagine doing anything else (even though my job takes me from court to prison and pretty much everywhere in between). Like pretty much everyone, I love to travel (both closer to home -- planning to spend time this summer in East Hampton, Fire Island, the North Fork, and Montana, which I visited for the first time last summer and think is seriously incredible-- and father afield -- a couple of summers ago I hit five countries on two continents in the span of two months while working full time . . . I'm still not quite sure how I pulled that off!). When I'm around the city I'm happiest hitting up a good restaurant, wine bar or dive bar with friends, checking out new spots, or just walking around town, going on random cultural outings or attending a sporting event (I am as far from a tomboy as you can get, but I can happily watch football all Sunday when it's an option -- go Giants!, I love spending the afternoon at a baseball game though as much for the social aspect as anything else, and I know and like most sports). I'm particularly excited that spring is here as it's a great time to be in New York. I love being able to run outside again, and I think day drinking is just better outdoors ( I'm also into making fancy cocktails and looking forward to breaking out my warm weather repertoire). I am often just as happy spending a night at home though. I love to cook and spend quality time on my couch . . . just watched House of Cards which was shockingly addictive and I am very happy that Mad Men is back. I also recently trained for and competed in my first triathlon, which was a good balance for everything else. I like fun, smart, cool, down to earth guys . . . who are not afraid to wear pastel (or plaid, but honestly, what guy doesn't love plaid?)
