This has to be one of the hardest things to do, describing yourself and what you are looking for. I thought I would take a different approach and compose a list of things that tell a little about me and who I am looking for. Here it goes
Texting- Dont get me wrong, I like to text but only about simple one line how are you doing sort of things. Anything longer than this is why they invented the telephone. I am also not a text-alcoholic who needs 30 texts a day to feel needed in the world.
Honesty- It usually comes out sooner or later, so you might as well be honest in the beginning and get it out in the open.
Bodybuilding- You do not have to be a body builder but just live a healthy lifestyle. Stay in shape and eat healthy. Although you can sneak a few unhealthy treats in along the way.
Ambitious- Like to do outdoor activites in both the winter and summer and live an active lifestyle. Again it is alright to have a lazy day on the couch watching a movie when its raining or there is a blizzard outside.
Dish it out as well take- Have a great personality and be able to laugh. Be able to take jokes and scarasm from time to time without getting upset and thinking the world is against you.
Walk side by side- Be able to walk side by side and not three steps ahead or behind the other person. Treat each other with respect and understand the other persons point of view even if you always do not agree with it.
Learning- Be able to learn from each other as life passes you by. Most importantly being able to make the most out of every situation, even those that are not the most pleasant in life.
Dirty hands- Does not mind getting their hands dirty or even breaking a nail realizing that they will always grow back thicker and stronger. Likes to use their hands to create new projects and things around the house.
Low Maintence- I do not mean the Maytag dishwasher. Not being a materalistic person that is always trying to keep up with the Jones. I like nice things as much as the next person but I still realize the value of them and the elbow grease that it takes to acquire them.
Glass is half full- Being able to see the funny side of every situation no matter how bad it might seem at the time. Laughter always seems to be the best medicine for lifes daily ills.
Always smiling- Always have a smile on your face with the laughter that goes along with it.
Hopefully you have made it this far and are laughing or else think that I am a nut job. I realize that I am far from perfect but hopefully this list is a start. I am like an open book, if there is anything else that you would like to know dont be afraid to ask. Good luck in your search!!!
Distance - It is kind of funny that people have a limited distance of 20-30 miles. If that is the case you might as well walk around the block and find your match in your own neighborhood without out going through the hastle of being online.
Meeting- Yes, it is nice to get to know someone first before meeting. Although I do not need another pen pal that only wants to email and never meet face to face.
