"Just be" is a mantra, of sorts, to me. I love to experience every moment just as it is, and am looking for someone to share the experience with.
I live a peaceful life--I enjoy travelling, creative activities and even just staying in versus the bar or club life. Someone who parties is not a good match for me, as I don't enjoy drinking as a pass-time. I'm looking more for an intellectual partner--someone who can hold a conversation about science, art, literature, etc...and also someone that I can share a good laugh with!
I am very much a nerd: I enjoy NPR's "Car Talk" and "Wait, Wait...Don't Tell Me!"; love "The Big Bang Theory" and "Breaking Bad"; spend more-than-necessary time on crossword puzzles; and often daydream about random philosophical or scientific conundrums.
I am very laid-back, and would not be a good match for a jealous individual. I love to interact with people, and enjoy a crowd with a quirkier sense of humor.
While I myself am an artist, I am not necessarily looking for an artist as a partner--just someone who appreciates art and is willing to occasionally visit a museum or show.
I love to exercise, be outdoors and travel--I would love a companion to see the world with. While I am an active individual, a good night-in is also enjoyed...it's all about balance!
I am independent by nature, so I am not a good match for anyone that needs 24-7 attention. I have my friends and hobbies (and enjoy some "me-time"), so my ideal match would also have a sense of independence--it makes that time spent together so much more special!
Family is very important to me, as they have been my encouragement and inspiration in life. I also love my dog, so a partner has to have a love for dogs as well (not just a tolerance!). He is my camping-buddy and has accompanied me on countless weekend adventures!
I am a passionate person who loves life and all it has to offer--now I am just looking for someone to enjoy the adventure with. :)
