I grew up and lived in Texas most of my life and then moved to NYC a few years ago for business school. I’ve noticed a lot of people tend to stereotype when they hear I’m a “Texan”, so let me clear up a few things: Believe it or not, I’m not a big fan of country music and I don’t own a cowboy hat. However, I will casually drop the word “ya’ll” into everyday conversation, and I do know how to ride a horse and use a shotgun. Some other things about me… I’m a pretty social person but also sort of a nerd at heart. I work as an investment research analyst, so I enjoy reading and learning about new things, in addition to being really skilled at sitting in a cubicle and making excel spreadsheets. I’ve very close to my family and they are incredibly important to me. I can be a little sarcastic, like to think I have a sense of humor, and definitely appreciate a sense of humor in others. I love animals, especially dogs, but cats too as long as they're of the fat and lazy variety. I like to be active and enjoy running, yoga, spinning and rollerblading (its totally making a comeback…no, really). I really enjoy music but haven’t taken advantage of all the great live music in the city yet and hoping that’s something I’ll change this year. I also like food and trying new restaurants, as well as traveling (recent trips include Africa and SE Asia and currently planning a trip to Croatia). What I’m looking for… a real man who believes in chivalry and manners, is intelligent and driven, has a sense of humor, likes to have fun and be adventurous, and is ridiculously good looking. Is that too much to ask? Ok, if you’re an honest, trustworthy and sincere person with a reasonably quick wit who thinks we might get along… send me a message and we can find out.
