I grew up in a small town in NJ and lived in NYC after college. While enjoying the ten years in NYC I knew I wanted to be in a different lifestyle. So, I moved to Orange County CA about a year and a half ago and have every intent on making it my home. I am sincere in searching for the right woman to share it all with.
Confident in my own self worth but not arrogant. You will NOT find me at the local bar dirty dancing, but more likely at a museum party, yoga class, book store or hiking. Nor will you see me yelling profanities into a bluetooth headset in public. Too much going on in my life, especially come Fridays, to waste time on that kind of negativity.
There are definitely both quiet and vibrant sides to my personality. Love to laugh at silly things, especially silly movies. But I also tend to gravitate toward action movies (caper and heist plots) and dramas with deep, passionate plots. The words optimistic and motivated would describe my personality best. I have always placed an emphasis on health, happiness, experiencing new things, work, family and friends. Although I love to travel, it's not where you go, but what you make of where you are.
The ideal woman would be optimistic, happy, hard working, funny and not arrogant. She would not have a check list. She would recognize that no single personality trait or physical attribute is a prerequisite, much less the key ingredient, for a lifelong, dedicated, devoted, committed and loving relationship. She would have a kind heart, be capable of laughing at herself, be loyal and have a sweet disposition. Someone who I could stand on a street corner with in the middle of nowhere and have a great time. Someone I want to kiss for no reason and who will get dressed up on the spur of the moment and go dancing.
For a first date, try a new museum, go to a local music show or visit an art gallery? Standard dinner is fun, but how about something a little different?
