I was born in Sweden, but moved to this country when my father's job took him to Keyna for 2 years. Due to the number of times I moved around as a child, I developed a love of travel. In college, I took every opportunity I could get to study overseas; spending semesters in Spain, Italy, and back home in Sweden. Some of my favorite places to travel to are the Greek Islands, Edinburgh, London, Rome, and Prague. After years of focusing on my career, I am fortunate, at this point in my life, to be in very good professional and financial positions. Although I continue to pursue ventures as they present themselves, I am ready to begin focusing on the personal aspects of life that I have so far put off.
I graduated from Texas with degrees in Finance and Marketing, but I knew that it was not something that I wanted to do for the rest of my life. Upon graduating, I worked briefly for a small company before receiving a grant to return to school for my Masters in Biology. A stipulation for accepting the grant was teaching at a high needs school for 3 years, and although I didn't see myself teaching beyond that point, I ended up loving it. Having worked from the age of 15, this was the first job I had had that really impacted the lives of others. Although I didn't like working in finance, it has always been something that I enjoyed as a personal pursuit. Having developed a successful track record as an investor, the opportunity to partner with a college friend in starting an investment fund has presented itself. Although a lot of work, I am extremely excited about the possibilities.
In the free time that I do have, I love to travel, fish, cook, read, seek out new restaurants, and frequent museums and galleries. I have always had a passion for all types of art, so I am really looking forward to what LA has to offer. .
Aside from enjoying similar things mentioned already, I am looking for someone that imagines all of the things that the world may offer and then acts to satisfy that imagination. I am looking for someone with a curious and inquisitive mind that also readily finds beauty and inspiration in the mundane and familiar. I am looking for someone that realizes and appreciates the fortune of existing in this specific moment and this specific place.
