About me: I'm originally from New Jersey but living in the Orlando area for about a year and half now. I have never lived so far from the ocean but I'm adapting. I live on a lake which is helping to calm my need for being near water. I have 3 children that live in New Jersey and they are my world and priority. They visit with me and I visit with them as often as possible. I'm a laid back person with dry sense of humor. I like being active but can also kick-back and relax. I'm driven and competitive in my career (don't worry, I leave my work at the door when the day is done and I can and will make time for you). The cornerstones of a relationship are Love, Trust, Respect and Honesty. I enjoy trying new things, going to new places, learning new things and meeting new people. I'm very family oriented and very fortunate to be blessed with some of the best friends in the world. I'm passionate about things that matter to me. I don't sweat the small stuff and have a zero tolerance policy for any form of dishonesty.
I love to travel. Anyplace tropical is fine with me. I love The Keys, Caribbean islands (I've been to many), Mexico, anyplace on or near the ocean. Long weekends on the beach reading and relaxing.
I enjoy boating, golf (I'm not very good), sporting events, wine tastings, eating out, home cooked meals (if you cook that scores big points), concerts, beach bars, a fine cigar, martini?s, deep sea fishing, comedy clubs, theater, a movie and bottle of wine after a hard day, sailing (I've taken a course and looking to continue), making time to get back into a workout routine.
Some of the places I want to visit and things I want to do: Tour vineyards of Italy and France. Fish Costa Rica, the Marshall Islands and Panama. Sail extensively through the Caribbean. Learn to scuba and see the Great Barrier Reef. Begin touring Europe.
Enough about me. My ideal match has similar interests, is affectionate, fun, loving, passionate, independent, emotionally available and grounded, must be good with children, doesn't mind help in the kitchen, can't be 100% couch potato, understands balance and priorities with daily life. Family oriented. Someone who will be a partner and teach me things I don't understand, go places I've never been, do things I haven't done yet.
