Ask most of my friends and they will tell you they have no idea why I'm single. There are times when I've felt impatient and asked myself the same question but I believe the things we enjoy most are the things we work hard and are forced to wait for. Hey, in some of the best love stories I've read, one guy worked 14 years for his woman and another waits 6000 years for His bride so I figure a month on Match ain't bad. As the older folks say, it'll happen in its time. With that being said I can now say while waiting for that special someone I've learned lessons about myself and what I'm looking for. I've experienced, disappointment and heartache but not without learning something to help me grow in the process. I've had the freedom and flexibility to do what I've wanted, when and how I've pleased all to discover who I am as a person.
Now taking what I've learned about life through experience and advice from others my goal is to join that with my ambition which keeps me dreaming, my determination which keeps me pressing forward and my love for "the journey" in order to find a kind, mature, beautiful, adventurous, family-oriented, modest, honest, healthy, intelligent woman to enjoy life and start a family with.
I am a positive, fun loving guy who enjoys a good laugh and the company of others. I tend to look for the good in people knowing that we all have our shortcomings.
I am looking for a woman who enjoys travel, who enjoys both socializing and a quiet night in. Someone who wouldn't mind taking vacation time be a part of a cause to help others. Ideally she would have a good relationship with her parents and family and can handle my family's various personalities (don't worry). I'm looking for a friend and partner who I can do everything with and who doesn't mind the traditional roles and would allow me to be the gentleman I am but will give me feedback and help make decisions.
I eat pretty healthy and make an effort to workout at the gym. I do enjoy food though and I hope you do too. I love comedy and if you can take a joke that is a big plus. I love a woman who is intelligent and knows about things that I don't know about but has the grace to teach me. A sense of entitlement and an elitist attitude are turnoffs so thanks but no thanks.
