I have been described as imaginative, intense and forward thinking. I admire creativity, optimism and confidence. Confidence; does not imply one is without flaws. On the contrary, there is something oddly compelling about the laugh of beauty that is comfortable in the light of imperfection. I tend to have the same reaction to humility, grace and subtlety. "Love"- The word we use to describe purpose. Work can be love, if it helps bring meaning to your life. A woman can be love, if she helps you realize your reason for living. A man can be love if he embraces his power of creation over the power of destruction. "Words"- Words can act as paint strokes on the blank canvas that is the human mind. This is why we must be careful with the words we teach a child and new friends. Those initial words we share with each other paint a picture of the world ugly and beautiful. "Teachers"- Truly do have the most wonderful responsibility. They inspire and cultivate the most dynamic form of art ... imagination. It was from a teacher that I first learned to wonder and think beyond what was my bolted down desk and blunt number 2 pencil. It's important not only to learn from our experiences but make those experiences teaching moments. You can be a teacher in each and every relationship you encounter. This does not mean patronize your partner; it means inspire them to dream bigger than bolted down dreams and blunt futures. "Spirituality" Just like snow flakes, each person has a unique spiritual fingerprint. Who are you? No, do not answer what you do for work or simply tell me you fall from sky. Tell me how gravity affects you differently than every other living thing on this earth. How does the shape of your spirit affect the way in which you twist in wind or wrinkle in rain? How do you respond to stormy weather and harsh conditions? Have they changed your fingerprint in the sky or has the journey from heaven to earth made your spirit that much more resolute? "Humor"- Learn to laugh at yourself. Life will be lighter. "Love is not the grail" it is the holy hunt. It is your guide. Love takes you by the hand and shows you how to see the same in difference, taste sweet in bitterness, conjure God in agnostic and movement in the spiritually disabled. Love will inspire creative works you would otherwise have never produced without it's direction and power.
