My match is a solid, confident, kind man that enjoys getting to know a woman, likes to laugh a lot and is hopeful about the possibilities the future holds. Someone that is serious when necessary but has an easy going nature and enjoys life to the fullest. Strong morals and values are qualities that are supremely important to me.
I've been told I'm loyal, smart and have a great sense of humor. I am very close to my family, so a man who has close family ties definitely gets my attention. I had an amazing, happy childhood - filled with priceless memories. I wouldn't trade places with anyone. I'm fortunate to have a few close friends that make me laugh 'till I cry and are always there for me.
I'm an entrepreneur at heart...love business and the sense of accomplishment you feel when you know you're building your own company. To have success, to have money, that's all good but none of that means anything if you're not passionate about what you do and if you don't have someone to share your success with. Work should not be an empty pursuit of a paycheck. True success comes when your job encourages you to dream instead of stifling you into complacency. I believe in never quitting and never settling, no matter how bumpy the road becomes.
I've lived in Manhattan most of my adult life but recently moved to the suburbs to become partners with my brothers and join the family business, I'm also consulting on another biz so I currently split my time between Long Island and Manhattan...I get the best of the burbs and city living. I've travelled extensively, Greece and the Bahamas have been my favorite destinations so far. No doubt about it though, New York is the best cit:y in the world! No matter how long I lived in NYC, I always got a kick out of the new places I discovered. Travelling is on my list of loves I need to get back to when time permits. I started biking again this summer and love it, such a great workout and you see the city in such a magnificent way.
The best relationships start from a genuine friendship, a true sense that you care about another's well-being as much as your own. I've also learned a valuable lesson in the last few years I've dated, without real chemistry and passion for the person you're with there's not much to build on. I believe you must know yourself, be really comfortable in your own skin and be a happy, positive person in order to complement your partner.
Dating is fun, I do enjoy all the stages, great conversation, getting to know new and interesting people, exploring the city together but dating is also work at times. Ultimately, I'm not looking to be a serial dater. I am looking for the man I could potentially share my life with. I believe most people are looking for this...their best friend...their lover...their everything. I definitely believe there is someone out there for everyone.
PS: I value someone who has a good heart, a happy-go-lucky type that doesn't take himself too seriously, will laugh with me and jokes around and puts a smile on my face. A man that will share the remote sometimes would be nice :), someone that loves kissing, some quiet, relaxing nights at home , holding me close but also enjoys sponaneity and is ready for a night out on the town with friends . Someone that protects their relationships with friends and family.
