I recently moved to Austin, relocating from the Bay Area, which I miss dearly, but Austin seems like an amazing town.
So, my first hope is that I can meet people, friends, etc.. as I'll terribly miss all my friends in the Bay Area. I would like to meet men (and women) for friendship mainly. With men, of course, things may evolve into more, but I never push or demand that they do. I really believe in letting things develop as they should. I would go on to say that my favorite things are to do with the mountains, skiing and snowboarding, which I have until recently done once a week, but I suppose that may change. I'm addicted to snowboarding, so some amount of my winter will be traveling to snowboarding places.
I also REALLY need to be near a city with culture, music, etc.. and thus, Austin again seemed like a great choice. I'm excited to get to know everything about it.
If I do meet a guy where there they may be something. I would want that person to find me his favorite person to be with, who finds me wildly attractive, who respects me, etc.. For the right man in my life, I am able to return the same. My 'ideal match' would be smart, funny, attractive, tall, and generally considerate and caring of others. And of course that spark - not so easy to find, but I'm holding out for it. I'm not in a hurry at all as it will happen.
I'm a psychologist and although its emotionally draining at times, I love helping people, especially when they begin to be honest with themselves. Unfortunately I won't be able to get licensed for a year, so I'll spend that time getting to know the area.
Besides the winter sports, I love yoga, ballet, hiking and like being outdoors whenever I can and would also be open sports/challenges (if it doesn't get in the way of skiing/boarding). Wow, I'm sounding a little intense!
Last PS, and not to be mean, but just to save everyone's time, I'm a sucker for tall, thin or athletic men, but really am open to anyone with whom I have chemistry.
