Born and raised in Texas but not at all what the stereotype tends to conjure. I went to school in New Orleans and have been living in NYC (downtown) for 10 years with 9 months out of the country. I've filled a passport and most of the extra pages---learning more from the places I've traveled than from my undergrad and graduate education combined.
About me: Experiential eating/dining of any kind turns me on!! I love grocery stores in foreign countries. I'm certified in Gyrotonics and practice regularly. I'm not religious but find religion fascinating. I've been described as an old soul. I drink whiskey and wine. I actually like to fly. I can shoot a gun. I love to play tennis. I'm terrified of roaches. I like walking after dinner. I'm a good host. I have great style. I love architecture, furniture and decorating spaces (before grad school I worked in interior design). I adapt well and thrive in new situations, environments and cultural experiences. I value humility, loyalty and chivalry. I'm compassionate and sentimental and I appreciate the grandiosity of the small moments in life.
