I'm proud, positive, and strong willed individual looking for someone that carries similar characteristics and values! I know what I like in life, but I also understand that a relationship and friendship requires, as a minimum; good communication, a thorough understanding and enjoyment of your significant others regular involvement in life’s issues (incredible and tough), an ability to have an avid conversation with each other and be comfortable in doing so, and most importantly, to laugh…a lot! Life is supposed to be more smiles and less frowns!
I love traveling just about everywhere, and have spent a good amount of vacation traveling in Europe in recent years, including London (Love this city), Paris, and Venice. My next overseas trip will hopefully be to Italy this year. I do travel both in and out of the country and don't have a problem scheduling a weekend trip across the country at a moment's notice (the impromptu trips tend to have funnier stories to tell your friends upon return!).
I've lived in Chicago for over ten years and continue to enjoy discovering the aspects and hidden treasures about the city regularly. I enjoy spending my summertime at North Ave beach, bowling (rarely get there but really fun and awkward when we do), Sunday lunch at Gibson’s, a few drinks with friends on a Saturday afternoon in Old Town, lazy couch/ pajama Sundays (and the occasional Sunday Fun day doesn’t hurt either), and of course a properly made dirty martini for special occasions!
I have been blessed with great parents, which have helped give me a solid upbringing. My family is very important to me, including my nieces and nephews! Children seem to breathe life into everything they touch or do, which helps keep us all young! I usually have a weekend a month tied up in heading to the suburbs to get to see them.
I'm looking for someone who's likes to laugh, travel, and enjoy the different aspects that life offers. I've packed my slightly cheesy smile, passion for life, and a keen eye so I can look forward to the undiscovered road ahead…..up for riding shotgun?
