As one of the last single girls in my circle of friends, I've decided it's time to take matters into my own hands and give this whole match thing a try. Feeling cautiously optimistic about it all....
At this point in my life I've done an awful lot on my own - which I wouldn't trade for anything. I'm pretty sure it's the reason I am the independent person I am today. I definitely didn’t expect to be single at this age, but it just kind of happened that way. As cliched as it sounds I know now that it is far better to be single and happy than to be together and miserable.
My family is a huge part of my life. My friends are very special to me and are like family. I'm looking for someone who appreciates the simple things in life. I like doing the little things to make people feel special.
If you want to get friends together, go out for drinks and dinner - patio-hop in the summer or entertain at home - I'm in! An excellent sense of humor with some sarcasm thrown in for good measure is something that I can't live without - SO important.
Trying new things is important to me as I am a very outgoing, motivated, genuine, and independent person. I believe that trust is the #1 component in a relationship, if you don't have trust, you have nothing. Ideally, it would be great to meet someone similar to enhance my life!
