I am pretty easy going, comfortable in most social situations. I can attend a formal, professional gathering or have a beer and hangout by a fire and be just as happy. I would like someone who could adjust to both scenarios...dress in a tux or sport the good ol blue jeans. I really love to go dancing and would enjoy someone to share that passion with me. I am very family oriented and my ideal match would have the same values and ethics of myself. I also am looking for a southern gentleman who was raised to believe and practice chivalry. I appreciate womens rights and equality just as much as the next gal, but some ladies need to shut up and let a man open a door for her or pull out her chair.
I travel quite a bit for work, mostly during the week, and need someone that understands that. I am in a good place in my life that is stable and self sufficient and I'm content. I would like someone to spend time with and do things with but am not looking to fill some empty void. My ideal match wouldn't need to financially take care of me nor would I expect to have to take care of them. I am looking for someone educated, driven and independent who likes to travel and be adventourous and have fun.
Here's some other random facts about me: I can be a smartass and be sarcastic and if you can dish it out you better be able to take it back in return. Life is to short to be serious all the time....I sneak away to my family's river house WHENEVER I can to enjoy the hill country and sit in the river, drink a beer and listen to some good music with my dog by my side.... To relieve stress I visit a gun range somewhere and shoot some skeet...maybe not the best place for a first date, don't want to embarrass you :) and how could I forget... I'm a devoted Aggie! Whoop!
