So a little bit about me, I was born and raised in New Jersey but have moved around quite a bit since then. I've moved around a lot since finishing grad school and like most people, I moved to DC for a job which I love. I do have a bit of wanderlust; travel is a love of mine, even if it is for just a short road trip (though I'd really love to cross the globe to Australia next.) My passion for history probably plays a part into my love of experiencing new places and cultures. Am I a history geek? Yes probably - I pretty much wanted to be Indiana Jones growing up.

I've got a small, close-knit family (we shoot for weekly Sunday dinners - even if that means via Facetime cross-country or across the globe). My parents are still together, going on almost 30 years and have provided me with a wonderful example of a what great marriage and partnership can be.
I'm not expecting miracles from this site, but I am serious about finding a relationship (I know, I know cliche for a woman, right?) So if you are still reading and are interested, shoot me an email, not just a wink -let's be honest, they're a bit creepy :)
