If I had to describe myself I'd say I'm always up for a good time but serious and professional when the situation calls for it. My philosophy is that we are all responsible for making our life mean something. I work hard at my career and I enjoy it but I try to work to live and not the other way around.
During college I took advantage of the study abroad program and spent some time in London. Ever since then I've been hooked on travel. Some of my favorite destinations so far have been Amsterdam, Edinburgh, and Santorini. I am always up for spur-of-the-moment trips and I'd really like to see some more U.S. cities (Austin and Philadelphia are near the top of my list of places to visit). International destinations on my to-visit list are Southeast Asia (Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia) and South America (Argentina, Costa Rica, Peru). I just returned from a trip to Scotland and Sweden at the beginning of March.
When I can't travel I enjoy mountain biking, hiking, wake-boarding, water skiing and snow skiing.
Some things that I value highly in a relationship are honesty, loyalty and humor. I'd like to meet someone who is down-to-earth, funny and intelligent. Sometimes I enjoy staying around the house but on occasion I do make last minute plans for a trip to Mammoth or Lake Havasu.
I'm not really picky about my music and I tend to change musical preferences in phases. Sometimes I'm a classic rock person (I especially enjoy Pink Floyd), other times I'll enjoy electronic music, rap or alternative rock.
