Hi and thanks for taking a moment to read my profile. I've found it amazing that just about everyone loves warm places, beaches, travel, and fine dining. I have to admit I'm in that group too. Whatever we do I think it's more about great company, conversation, and laughter where you forget about the time. A fancy night on the town or even a spontaneous evening dining in with a nice bottle of wine and maybe trying to cook something new together would be fun. Yes, me in the kitchen qualifies as an "adventure" too! You just never know how it'll turn out, but it's fun trying!
In terms of me, I'd describe myself as the "nice guy" with an edge. I do lead a pretty active lifestyle. Athletics or working out I think balances out my desk/day job so I do hope to find someone who is the same way and takes care of themselves. I'm... chocolate is my one true weakness. Ideally the person I'd love to meet is a professional by day but active/passionate about their own athletics too (yoga, working out, running, whatever your passion is).
I also like getting creative with trying new little adventures around the area. I think even coming up with something different to do is a fun creative thing to do together with the right person. Not-the-same-ole things like I hear there's a chocolate tasting tour in Philly. Maybe a day/weekend trip to DC, the keys, or even Savannah just to check out a new place and a quick change of scenery (why not right?)
Now I haven't been up here long but I have started to see some common questions, so here's some answers that might help in seeing if we'd be a "match"....
- No, I'm not a "player"; while I would describe myself as a positive energetic person who tends to smile and make others around me smile too I'm also a busy professional and a dad so I don't have the time for the games either.
- Yes I have three amazing kids half the time. Being a part of their life is really important to me but I also have time for adding the right person to my life. (yes I've even heard that my kids were the "wrong" ages. Man you ladies can be tough :) )
- Yes, I'm up here trying to find that "new best friend" / "Partner in crime" (read as looking for the right one person, not speed or serial dating) but I don't expect that to happen right away and I get there's going to be a few that just aren't. Hopefully there's an immediate click/chemistry but my hope is to find that right combination of chemistry and personality that makes it fun to be together. Let's face it we all know the pictures and "chemistry" are important!
- Yes, I'm looking for someone intelligent with a professional career that they enjoy but who can and will make time to get together.
